IT Infrastructure Lead

Location: San Jose, California

We are currently looking for a Worldwide IT infrastructure Lead. You will be reporting into the head of Worldwide IT and working closely with outsourced vendors and driving day-to-day and project activities. You will need to be a self-driven and motivated individual who moves fast, adjusts to changing priorities, and works well in team environments.

Job Responsibilities

• Continual performance of Virtual infrastructure for Wyse
• Virtual desktops and End user experience management
• Mobile management
• Process & policy documentation
• Network management and security
• Vendor and AMC management
• Technology evaluation and Procurement
• Change management
• Backup and DR management
• Work and schedule management
• WAN management and optimization
• VOIP systems management
• Software and physical asset management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required; masters degree preferred
• 10+ years work experience in the areas above
• Capability to handle rapidly changing priorities is a must
• Experience in virtualization and storage technologies
• Good understanding of virtual desktops - end user experience management
• Strong background in N/W and systems administration
• Experience in writing and maintaining policy and procedure documentation
• Experience in managing and maintaining compliance

Desired Qualifications

• Certification in networking
• Experience with multiple hypervisors and storage
• Experience with data protection and privacy laws like Safe harbor, PCI, SOX is a plus+
• ITIL certifications
