Channel Sales Representative

Location: West Coast, Midwest (2 openings)

Wyse Technology is looking for an upbeat, focused, and well-organized sales individual to join the North American sales team selling Wyse market leading cloud client computing solutions.

As an integral part of the sales organization, the Territory Channel Sales Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with sales and management personnel within reseller accounts for a targeted territory.   You will fully enable the partners from both a sales and delivery standpoint while continually driving pipeline and revenue by relating to key levels of the partner organization.  Working closely with the Wyse sales force to ensure channel harmony is a key requirement for this position as well as reporting back any areas for improvement.

To be successful in this position, you fully understand all aspects of complex selling while having experience co-selling with resellers, technology partners, and internal resources.

 Job Responsibilities

  • Effectively recruit new resellers; train, support, and develop their Wyse business
  • Drive significant revenue with partner community in your region
  • Create, manage, and execute on quarterly business goals and review with the   partner in quarterly business reviews
  • Work with partners to grow their Wyse practice and product portfolio through joint   development of solutions and services
  • Travel (70%) within your assigned territory as necessary
  • Required Qualifications
  • Demonstrates high degree of initiative and self-management
  • Possess excellent oral & written communication and presentation skills
  • Analytical skills to accurately forecast channel sales and results
  • Strong abilities to educate partners on Wyse products and programs
  • Exceptional ability to partner and act as liaison between reseller and Wyse by offering strategy, prioritization, and input management
  • Fosters a positive working relationship with business unit leaders and senior management with reseller and technology community
  • Proven record of achieving planned quota
  • Experience / understanding of virtualization technologies including solutions from Citrix, Microsoft, and VMware is highly preferred
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of channel sales/sales development experience in a high-tech environment
  • Bachelors degree (in Business or related discipline) preferred
