Requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or a related field, with a concentration in microelectronics, optoelectronics, electronics, or physics. Candidates with a BS require at least seven years experience, MS/PhD candidates require at least five years experience in manufacturing integrated circuits or related products in a manufacturing fab environment. Candidates holding alternate creditentials and extensive industry experience are encouraged to apply.

Experience in III-V semiconductors is desired. Specific InP experience is not required.

Prior experience should include: direct wafer photolithography tool (exposure and coat systems) and process ownership, hands-on operation and maintenance of photolithography tools, hands-on operation of semiconductor metrology equipmenet, application-based experience with photo materials/chemicals, ability to reduce raw data into logical conclusions, experience with wafer fab shop floor control systems, direct experience mentoring operators and responding to 24x7 factory needs, SPC, experimental design.

Stepper Expert companies with fabs. Roles will include: maintain/improve process quality/performance, wafer disposition, WIP movement, operator mentorship & training, and specifying new materials & tools, design rules, metrology & new layers in the fabrication of monolithically integrated optical circuits.

Work in a team environment consisting of engineers and operators. Expected to create written operational procedures and mentor/train operators. Will have 24x7 response duties for tools/processes owned. Will be asked to peer-lead and exercise expertise in specific process modules and across the processes flow, spanning early development through mature products.
