Key responsibilities:

• Interface with the manufacturing team and senior management to improve productivity, efficiency and product quality. 
• Generate and implement Engineering Change Notices, and other associated Document Control processes. 
• Write necessary manufacturing procedures, operating procedures and/or training procedures.
• As a member of the new product development team, assist in the transfer of new products into production.
• Design, recommend and implement engineering tests.
• Lead or participate in a team environment.
• Provide a positive, proactive attitude towards implementation of management strategies, including continuous improvement, and other identified and communicated quality oriented objectives. Recognizes the importance of the link between management and labor.
• Proactively identifies production bottlenecks and introduces robust and scalable processes which contribute to efficiency improvements. Identifies and proactively introduces solutions to improve under performing production processes. 
• Identify maintenance intervals for new equipment, fixtures, etc. and determine proper calibration requirements.
• Provide MRB support and works with Materials Manager and vendors to ensure timely implementation of changes to maintain product flow.
• Provide RMA support and works with Sales and customers to ensure proper evaluation of failed product. Suggests quality improvements associated with failures and oversees implementation of the improvements. BS degree in a Physical Science or an Engineering Degree with demonstrable physical science experience.
• 3-5 years in an engineering or manufacturing engineering role, with experience in high technology environments.
• Experience with 3D mechanical CAD (preferably Solidworks)
• Experience with document control systems
