Summary

The person in this position is primarily responsible for the review of game sales contracts, revenue recognition, inventory/COGS management, monthly revenue and cost management, monthly revenue and cost close, and sales and cost analysis four our Asia Pacific region.

Duties

  • Establishes, or recommends to management, major economic objectives and policies for the company Reviews games and gaming contracts for adherence to company policies, proper margins and proper revenue recognition 
  • Determines required inventory reserves, inventory availability vs. forecast, and coordinates forecast with manufacturing and sales
  • Supervises the revenue accounting department including backlog maintenance, accounts receivable and invoicing, A/R reserve analysis
  • Designs and maintains accurate internal and external reports
  • Develops and maintains working knowledge of corporate structure, practices and policies 
  • Supervises individual contributing departments within the Finance team that may include COGS, margin, inventory levels, overhead calculations, gaming fixed assets, royalties and depreciation
  • Prepares sales and cost analyses as required
  • Must have multi-tasking experience and abilities
  • Must be able to effectively communicate at both the lowest and highest levels in the organization
  • Must be detail oriented and well organized

Training AND/OR Experience:

  • Five to ten years of accounting experience is required
  • Sarbanes Oxley environment preferred
  • Five years in a supervisory role within a multi departmental organization is required 

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively – written or orally
  • Must have strong analytical reasoning
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business, or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree in accounting preferred 

Physical Requirements:

  • Sedentary
