Summary

We are curently seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to join our Bally team.

Duties

As part of the Continuous Improvement (Lean) team the candidate will support various continuous improvement initiatives within The Company.

The person in this position is primarily responsible for identifying and facilitating process change throughout Bally Technologies. This includes but is not limited to acting as a consultant to internal departments on event planning, facilitation and follow up as well as the identification and measurement of key performance indicators for assessing the success of these initiatives.  Additionally, the candidate will be expected to serve as an internal subject matter expert on the use and application of Lean tools and methods.

Essential Duties AND Responsibilities:

  • Assists in planning, execution and follow-up of Continuous Improvement Events (Value Stream Mapping and Kaizens)
  • Acting as team lead and change agent in these events
  • Creates and maintains documentation library for departmental continuous improvement efforts
  • Data Entry and archiving of information produced as a result of events
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Training AND/OR Experience:

  •  No industry experience required
  •  Prior experience or coursework in Project Management, Business Process Improvement/Reengineering, MIS, Accounting or Operations preferred

 Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in any of the following: Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Access or Project
  • Able to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to speak in front of groups
  • Strong Attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to understand the implications of new information and how it impacts different functions
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environment
  • Knowledge of Toyota Production System/Lean Principles strongly preferred

Education:

  • Business or related degree required.  MBA preferred.
