Sr. Manager, Global HR Operations

The Sr. Manager, HR Business Operations will be responsible for leading a number of companywide HR strategic initiatives and projects. This position will report to the Director, HR Global HR Operations and have broad responsibility ensuring the Global HR Organization meets the strategic, operational, and financial objectives of the company.

In this position, you will partner with Sr. Executives and HR Teams to establish and implement HR strategies that foster organization and people development in order to achieve business results. As you liaison, between the business functions and HR you will assess in organizational needs in such as areas as internal employee communications, HR process improvement, and HR program management. You will partner with the business on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment. Review and analyze business unit data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience. Present high quality data and documents which support your findings.

Provide leadership in specials projects including Global Collaboration and Communications, Corporate Internet Re-Design, Employment Branding, Employee Engagement Initiatives, Rewards and Recognition, HR Sponsored Events, and the company’s Great Place to Work Initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

Seven or more years of progressive experience developing, implementing, programs that support strategic company objectives

Expertise in two of the following areas is strongly preferred: performance management, business operations, employee relations, recruiting or organizational development.
Exceptional business acumen, with experience presenting to and influencing senior business leaders, an analytical approach to problem solving, experience designing and project managing successful people programs, and a track record of innovation.
Excellent communication skills, strategic thinking and planning/facilitation ability, and flexibility to function in a fast paced and innovative environment. The ability to dive into the details will be critical for your success.
The ability to translate client business plans and goals into human resource capabilities is needed to achieve results.

  • The ability to diagnose problems and identify & implement appropriate solutions
  • The ability to facilitate large or small group meetings and manage conflict resolution
  • The ability to provide leadership, work collaboratively on teams, and consult effectively and independently with all levels of the organization and within the general HR community
  • Strong ability to multi-task, take initiative, negotiate, and influence thinking within a corporate operations structure. 
  • Proven skill in the operation and utilization software such as Microsoft Word for Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
