Rework Technician
A Rework Technician, working in the Engineering Department, will be asked to perform a variety of tasks that include, but is not restricted to, rework and assembly of electronic and mechanical sub-assemblies. Other tasks may include the use of test equipment, computers, and basic software applications such as Microsoft Word or Excel.
Responsibilities:
- The Rework Technician's main responsibility will be to support engineers working on prototype bring-up and any sustaining engineering tasks.
Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience as assembler.
- Must have an enthusiastic attitude and be willing to work in a fast-paced engineering environment.
- Skilled in both through-hole and surface-mount technologies.
- Able to use basic hand tools for light chassis-level assembly.
- Able to perform rework or general assembly tasks from instructions or schematics.
- A willingness to learn basic engineering tasks such as programming EEPROMs, CPLDs, or monitoring test scripts is required.
