Graphics Designer - Mobile Applications/Advertising
Responsibilities
We are seeking talented Flash designers to work with us on various advertising projects for our mobile applications and games. He/she will work closely with the Project Managers and designers to conceptualize and create interactive ads for mobile applications in a fast paced startup environment. You will work with a dynamic team to conceptualize, create and execute digital ad campaigns.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Design and integrate stunning visual effects into interactive ads for banner ads, games and websites.
- Create and present effective design/graphic solutions.
- Excellent layout and typography skills. Manage integrating graphics into project construction processes.
- Design and production of both 2D and 3D animation assets.
- Deadline-oriented with the ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple projects within tight timelines.
- Must be able to take direction, be a self-starter and problem solver.
- Must be well organized with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills are a must.
Skills & Qualifications
- Preferable design degree or diploma.
- 1-2 years experience in an interactive design role.
- Expert level in Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Hands on experience with application conceptualization and Animation using Flash, 3D (Maya, 3D Studio) is a big plus.
- HTML/JavaScript, CSS or other relevant technology skills are a plus.
- Excellent portfolio - List of URLs/online portfolio. Please give SPECIFIC details about your level of involvement (concept, art, code, programming, etc.) on each project.
- Ability to create exceptional designs under strict deadline.
- Electronic rendering skills combined with an appreciation of layout and design, typography, good understanding of user interface fundamentals.
- Understanding of design for mobile and web applications, usability and accessibility practice and customer focus are essential.
