CMRL SPONSORED PG DIPLOMA COURSE IN "METRO RAIL TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT" AT IIT MADRAS Chennai Metro Rail Ltd (CMRL), a Joint Venture company with equity participation from Govt. of India and Govt. of Tamil Nadu has been entrusted with the responsibility of implementation of the Chennai Metro Rail Project. 

Applications are invited from dynamic and result oriented Engineers (Civil, mechanical, Electrical, Electrical & Electronics and Electronics & Communication Engineering and Architecture), for the CMRL sponsored PG Diploma Course in "Metro Rail Technology and Management". The total number of seats is 10, which may undergo slight change.

Civil engineer - 2

Mechanical engineer - 2

EE / EEE - 4

Architecture - 1

Total 13 seat

Age : 28 years (relaxation applicable)
Qly :  UG in concerned subject with 70% marks + GATE
Stipend : 20000 pm.

Induction: On successful completion of the course, the trainees will be inducted as Assistant Manager, Chennai Metro Rail in the relevant scale as per the HR policy of CMRL. Candidates who excel during the course and secure a CGPA of 8.5 or more, will be granted two advance increments in Assistant Manager’s grade upon joining, while others will be granted only one advance increment at the time of induction.
