Job Description  

  • Develop and sustain effective new business relationships with clients in order to leverage and set up effective commercial deals
  • Technology ODC, Analytics consulting, F & A outsourcing. Real estate process outsourcing.
  • Lead generation and sales in a product based solution selling environment
  • Re-selling of products in financial services space
  • Deal with Government, Public Sector Units, Private firms and Consulting companies.
  • Identify, shape and convert business opportunities in line with Byte Consulting's portfolio targets, meeting the necessary risk and profit requirements, so as to meet and surpass business development targets
  • Develop and manage sales opportunities from beginning to end including qualification, proposal, final selection, due diligence and closing
  • Demonstrate effective negotiation and closing techniques in securing profitable business
  • Ability to develop and sustain effective new business relationships with clients in order to leverage and set up effective commercial deals
  • Will be responsible for business development in India / Asian Markets

Desired Profile

  • Proven capability to develop and manage sales opportunities from beginning to end including qualification, proposal, final selection, due diligence and closing
  • Seasoned financial services and/or financial products sales experience would be an distinct advantage
  • Experience with selling consulting and IT services would be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of Securities and Wealth Management industry business processes – front office, mid-office, operations, in the AM, Brokerage, Private Banking space, Business Intelligence etc. a plus
  • Reasonably technical, doesn’t have to know how to program but should be able to setup and run demos
  • Enough of a risk taker and sufficiently confidant to be comfortable with a significant portion of compensation based on commissions
  • Must be able to conceptualize and articulate business problems and be able to package consulting and IT solutions to solve such problems
  • Be able to understanding competitors' strengths and weaknesses and effectively articulate Byte Consulting’s competitive advantage
  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written. Good telephone communication skills. Good listening skills. Good presentation skills, must be independent and a self-starter
  • MBA in Marketing, Finance or associated degree required
  • 7 - 8 yrs experience in selling solutions to Financial Institutions, Investment Banks, Private Banks will be a plus.
  • Exposure to international clients
  • Should be willing to travel if required.
