Purpose of Role

• Work as a Business Analyst to define functional features of applications developed by the company for it clients in the Telecom and Commodity Trading Industry

Duties

• Interact with the Client to ascertain requirements and translate them into technical designs
• Present the designs to the client and obtain approval
• Work with the Development Team to bring designs to reality
• Provide constructive input regarding implementation of QA & Testing
• Ensure that team follows development processes and procedures
• Release management and audit
• Commitment to ongoing improvement & documentation
• QA Reviews
• Manage System Life-Cycle Post-mortem exercise on each implementation to improve development processes and procedures

Essential Skills

• Experience of Client/Server, N-tier, Internet / Intranet technologies and using Case Tools
• Experience in Systems Analysis, developing web based telecom or business applications with hands on experience of managing applications development independently
• Understanding of Release and Configuration Management
• Excellent and effective communication skills
• Ability to validate technical designs against .Net and MS /
• Oracle DBMS

• Experience in process oriented development
• Telecom knowledge
• Commodity Trading Industry knowledge
• Other business domains like Finance, Production Planning, Manufacturing, etc.
• Networking/Hardware appreciation

Education/Background

• Solid software development and Business Analysis background with proven track record in Systems Design
