Purpose of Role

• Work as a Business Analyst to define functional features of applications developed by the company for it clients in the Telecom and Commodity Trading Industry

Duties

• Interact with the Applications Architect to understand the technical design
• Review development feasibility and offer feedback to refine design
• Build applications based on the designs
• Guide and support junior developers
• Provide constructive input regarding implementation of QA & Testing
• Release management and audit
• Commitment to ongoing improvement & documentation Code review and QA Rrview

Essential Skills

• Experience of Client/Server, N-tier, Internet / Intranet technologies
• Experience in developing web based telecom or business applications with hands on experience of applications development in a lead position
• Excellent logical and optimal algorithm definition skills
• Debugging skills
• Coding experience in .Net with DBMS skills
• Ability and willingness to follow procedures

Desirable Skills

• Experience in process oriented development
• Telecom knowledge
• Commodity Trading Industry knowledge
• Other business domains like Finance, Production Planning, Manufacturing, etc.
• Networking/Hardware appreciation
• Exposure to new technologies and ability to imbibe them
