Job Function

• Requires experience in both a technical and business capacity in the medical device and healthcare space. Applicants without this experince will not be considered
•  Exciting opportunity on Qualcomm's Wireless Health and Life Sciences team. The team will lead the process for commercializing new business opportunities in the Mobile Health space. This position will be responsible for the oversight of the relationships between worldwide Medical Device/Healthcare companies and Qualcomm.

Skills/Experience

• Requires a minimum of 10+ years' experience in both a technical and business capacity in the medical device and healthcare space. The ideal candidate will have experience in both a large medical device/pharma company and start up environments in the same space. 
• Experience working in and strong understanding of the medical device and healthcare space is required 
• Account/customer management; customer facing role with extensive travel 
• Business development experience including contract negotiations 
• Strategic planning, thought leadership and vision, competitive analysis, positioning and messaging skills - Matrix management of relationships across multiple QC business units 
• Solid technology background balanced with strong business acumen and proactive communication skills. Experience in the wireless industry is a plus but not required. Product development experience preferred. Exposure and/or experience in healthcare service delivery helpful
• Responsibilities Strong contact list and established healthcare/medical device relationships preferred. 
• Ability to work independently (self starter) as well as in a team and operate successfully in a fast-moving matrix-based organization both within and across divisions. 
• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize tasks. 
• Strong written/verbal communication abilities. 
• Attention to detail and clarity.

Education Requirements Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred.
