Location: Delhi / Pune / Mumbai
Openings: 6

Overview:
Serve as the principle liaison with our customers throughout the cycle of project involvement; from initial call through design, sale, delivery, installation, acceptance and service/follow through. The goal of your service is to help companies compete in their markets by providing the best material handling system solutions and technology. You will provide technical solutions to increase productivity for industrial environments.

Superior Performance Objectives:

  • Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Engineering withadditional training in Industrial Automation a plus.
  • Strong Knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Strong computer skills with MS Office
  • Preferred experience (1-3 Years) in Conveyor (Roller, Belt, Accumulation, Incline, Free Flow, Portable) Sales & Industrial Automation

Requirements:

  • Exceed mutually agreed on Annual Sales Goals. Between 1-5 Crore
  • Consistently Develops New Business / New Accounts. Minimum 8-10 new clients to be sold to.
  • Provides excellent technical solutions to our customers that meet their business goals.
  • Superior Customer Service (as measured by our customers: repeat business and reputation).

Attributes:

General Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong relationships with our customers through timely, regular visits.
  • Set Goals and Manage your time effectively with a Planner or equivalent.
  • Promote ASAP Automation in all appropriate forums.
  • Regular new business development calls (through networking) and follow up calls on prospects.
  • Maintains a minimum Average Annual Mark-up of 25%. Specific product lines will vary.
  • Sell competitively at what the market will bear.
  • Fill out and submit the credit form on new accounts. ***
  • Minimal number of Past Due or Delinquent Accounts (low value of bad debt)***
  • Consistent communications with the Manager. Timely completion of action items.
  • Integrity and a strong work ethic
  • Master product information through training and personal efforts.
  • Provide professional quotes in a timely manner.  Fill out sales orders completely, both product and pricing information.
  • Master business technology (AutoCAD, HyCAD, HEROES, presentations, etc.).
  • Plan strategies for territory penetration/account management.
  • Pursue leads from our suppliers within 2 business days.
  • Maintain customer database information current in CRM.
  • Communicate with other ASAP team members effectively.  Keep HO advised of schedule.  Check and use voice mail and e-mail diligently.  Maintain the team relationship.
  • Work together as a team to close larger jobs.
  • Communicate strategic information regarding suppliers, customers and competition.
  • Follow the Systems Checklist for systems projects.
  • Maintain positive cash flow on systems projects.  Follow up on highlighted past due accounts.***
  • Enter sales activity data, sales opportunities and quotes into CRM.
  • Maintain office area clean and organized.
  • Maintain appearance in the field (nicely dressed, shined shoes,).
  • Complete all administrative tasks/paperwork in timely manner. 
  • Attend weekly sales meeting and other scheduled meetings on time.
  • Network with business contacts within the territory (i.e. Chamber of Commerce, service organizations, consultants, government business resources, etc.).
  • Seek out and penetrate niche markets, national accounts and new business opportunities.
  • Continuously study the sales profession (CD’s, courses, videos, books, periodicals, etc.) to improve skills and abilities.
  • Maintain a consistently positive, enthusiastic attitude.
  • Generate sales of exclusive suppliers.
  • Primary sales responsibility will be for Clients located in & around Delhi / Pune / Mumbai. As per Company’s discretion, you would be asked to follow up Leads / Opportunities in other Territory as and when required.
