 Interaction Designer

Location: San Jose, California

We are looking for an Interaction Designer that is passionate about helping create the next generation of cloud client computing user experiences. You will be working on two of the most exciting and fast growing trends in the industry: virtualization and mobile computing devices.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, coordinate, and conduct USER REQUIREMENT ANALYSIS, task analysis, conceptual modeling, information architecture design, interaction design, and usability testing
• Build "look alike / work alike" prototypes to ensure the concepts capture feedback from potential users, dev. team and UX team before development begins
• Design and specify USER INTERFACES and information architecture using participatory and iterative design techniques, including observational studies, customer interviews, usability testing, and other forms of requirements discovery
• Produce USER REQUIREMENT SPECIFICATIONS, personas, storyboards, scenarios, flowcharts, design prototypes, and design specifications
• Effectively communicate RESEARCH FINDINGS, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually
• WORK CLOSELY WITH DEVELOPMENT TEAMS to ensure that design specifications are implemented

Required Qualifications

• Very strong user centered design, information architecture and visual design skills
• Industry experience designing enterprise level applications
• Experience creating interactive prototypes and analysis tools in the design process.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks and Flash
• Bachelors in Human Factors, Industrial Design, Interaction Design or CS with and art orientation
• Background or knowledge in Usability testing and User Centered Design is a plus
