JOB Description
1. Should have at least 2 to 3 years experience as project manager
2. Should have handled team size of 15 people
3. Should be capable of handling one single large account or multiple small projects
4. Possess thorough knowledge on project management
5. Have Knowledge and experience in project planning, estimation, monitoring and tracking
6. Ability to understand the user requirements and functional specifications (e.g. RD, FSD) and convert them into development plan
7. Ability to visualize the product from user’s perspective
8. Ability to identify and analyze Risk
9. Should be able to identify and document the project roles and responsibilities.
10. Perform day-to-day management of the project against the approved project plan, effort and scope to deliver the specified objectives.
11. Work with the Practice Manager to identify project staff and consultants required to ensure the project is resourced properly and efficiently.
12. Identify software, tools required for the project.
13. Manage co-ordination of the stakeholders and working groups engaged in project work.
14. Manage project deliverables in line with the project plan and its associated plans.
15. Record and manage project issues and escalate wherever necessary.
16. Resolve cross-functional issues at project level.
17. Manage project scope and change control and escalate issues where necessary.
18. Monitor project progress and performance.
19. Provide progress status reports to the GSDSU Head / Practice Manager.
20. Work with the Practice Manager to identify the project training required and manage within the defined effort.
21. Manage project evaluation and dissemination activities.
22. Work closely with customers to ensure the project meets the business needs.
23. Identifying, tracking managing and resolving project issues.
24. Proactively disseminating project information to all stakeholders.
25. Identify, assess, manage and mitigate project risks.
26. Ensure the product delivered is as per the project objectives and acceptance criteria.
27. Proactively manage scope to ensure that only what was agreed to be delivered, unless changes are approved through change management.
28. Collecting metrics to give a sense of how the project is progressing and whether the deliverables produced are acceptable.
29. Manage the overall work plan to ensure work is assigned and completed on time and within effort
30. Provide consolidated monthly effort for the project
31. Escalate unresolved issues to customers for their approval
32. Escalate to Senior Management, customers on non-adherence to the schedule
33. Knowledge and experience on PM tools like MS Project / Prince II / etc. is must
34. Should be PMP certified
