Sr. Software Developer (New York)
Company : Byte Consulting
Participate in multiple phases of project life cycle development including requirement gathering, software design, development, and testing.
Provide technical evaluation estimates on innovative technology initiatives. Work with advanced technologies: OOAD, Sybase, Shell Scripting, Perl Scripting, C#, Java, Fortran, DBX, UML, TCP/IP, IIS, Clear Case, VSS. Work extensively with clients in financial industry to re-engineer their business systems and delivering processes.
Design and customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency and improving performance of existing systems.
Implement and document stored procedures, triggers and cursors for efficient data processing. Provide leadership and supervision to 2-3 other staff members.
Required: Master’s degree with 1 year of relevant IT experience. Job locations in New York, NY & other unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S.
