Senior Software Engineer

Responsibility:

1 Creation of the Unit Specifications in consultation with the senior
2 Get the timely review and approval done on the Unit Specifications
3 Understanding the Unit Specification/work assignment clearly before starting the
implementation
4 Write Unit Test Cases as per  Unit Test Specification
5 Review of the UTCDs created by others when assigned
6 Programming/ Coding  in the required technology adhering to coding Standards
7 Carry out code walk-through with the reviewer
8 Test the program as per the approved Unit Test Cases and document them
9 Complete the required documentation for the work done
10 Meet the objectives set for the project during the project initiation meeting with respect to
number of Bugs, efforts, schedule, process compliance etc.,
11 Build competencies in Technology Product / Domain
12 Communicate the following to reporting manager :

•      Completion of work
•      Any persistent technical difficulties faced 

13 Suggest alternative solutions to the problems proactively
14 Maintain and update the daily timesheet as per the work assigned
15 Actively participate and contribute in the team meetings.

Skills Set:
2-4 years of Software development experience
Technical knowledge-  Java/Jsp/servlets/Hibernate

Education:
BS Degree in Engineering, Masters or Bachelors Degree in software related technology with 2+
years of relevant experience                
or
Graduate in any discipline, with additional qualifications in computer science and 3+ years of
relevant experience
